Los alumnos que estén cursando el International Baccalaureate (IB) pueden elegir entre acceder a la Universidad de Navarra por el procedimiento ordinario o mediante el acceso del diploma IB (si cumple las condiciones mínimas de acceso para esa titulación).
Los candidatos IB deberán señalar en la solicitud de admisión, que se realiza a través del Portal miUNAV, que su acceso es mediante IB y adjuntar por lo tanto el certificado de notas propio y específico del Diploma de Bachillerato Internacional.
Requisitos, selección y resolución
Permite el acceso a la Universidad de Navarra sin la prueba EvAU/EBAU, solicitando a través de la UNED la credencial de acceso.
Para acceder por esta vía es necesario que la nota predictiva del alumno (después de haber cursado el primer curso del Diploma IB) alcance la nota mínima requerida para cada titulación según cada Centro (ver notas más abajo).
Quienes alcancen la nota predictiva exigida se les convocará a una entrevista desde el Centro solicitado. La Facultad de Económicas, en el caso de los solicitantes que cursen sus estudios en un centro académico con sede en España, realizará esta entrevista en persona en el Campus de Pamplona los días en que se realicen las pruebas de admisión.
Para alumnos que estudien fuera de España además es necesario realizar una entrevista con el delegado de la Universidad en su país.
En el caso de superar la entrevista, el alumno IB obtendrá una admisión condicionada a que efectivamente alcance en sus calificaciones definitivas la puntuación exigida para esa titulación al terminar el diploma IB. Las notas definitivas deben entregarse antes del 10 de julio en caso de que no compartas los resultados con la Universidad de Navarra desde la aplicación.
Si el estudiante no alcanza la puntuación exigida al terminar el diploma IB y en consecuencia no es admitido en el grado solicitado, podrá realizar una instancia por el Portal miUNAV en Ayuda/Contacto, solicitando reconsiderar su admisión por vía de pruebas de admisión, excepto en la Facultad de Medicina que no es posible.
