An interdisciplinary seminar with the title ‘Phenomenology and Law' was organized by the ICS's projects Natural law and practical rationality and Borders and Culture.
The event focused on the book ‘¿Qué es el Derecho? La ontología jurídica de Adolf Reinach', by Marta Albert, from the University ‘Rey Juan Carlos'. Mariano Crespo, researcher on the project 'Natural Law and Practical Rationality', wrote the prologue.
Professor Albert talked about 'Reinach and contemporary philosophy of law'. Caridad Velarde, main researcher on the project 'Borders and Culture', then spoke on 'Adolf Reinach's jusphilosophical context'. Subsequently, the researcher Pilar Zambrano gave a lecture entitled 'Reinach and the intelligibility of law'. And finally, Mariano Crespo presented a talk entitled 'A Priori Foundations of Law and Natural Law. Basis for a dialogue between two traditions.'
