The University of Navarra is first in Spain in Law according to Times Higher Education Rankings which was published today. It is the best in Spain in Law in teaching, research, research impact (academic citations) and international outlook. Furthermore, it is among the top 100 universities in the world in Law, ranked 67 out of 257 universities ranked.
Furthermore, the University is also ranked in Business and Economics in the range 176-200 out of 795 universities ranked, being the fourth in Spain (out of 39). The University scores high in this area for its internationality (it is first in Spain in this indicator), as well as for its research and teaching (it is fourth in Spain in both).
In the area of Social Sciences, the university is ranked between 301-400 and is fifth in Spain (tied with five other universities) from a total of 39 Spanish universities which were included in the ranking. It is second in this subject in international outlook.
Times Higher Education´s subject rankings are based on the same 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings 2022. These indicators include teaching, research, international outlook and industry income. Some of the data is provided by the universities and other information is obtained from their own sources (such as the reputation surveys conducted by THE) or from partners (such as research data from Scopus database). With this information, Times Higher Education, in addition to its global ranking, publishes the rankings by subjects, which includes 11 areas which are published during October and November.
