The research group ‘Mind-Brain' of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) at the University of Navarra held its 2014 Intensive Labour Meeting. José Ignacio Murillo, principal researcher and Francisco Güell, coordinator of the research group attended the meeting along with the researchers and collaborators Nathaniel Barrett, Carlos Blanco, Luis Echarte and, Miguel García Valdecasas.
During their stay, the team organized three working days to take stock of what has been achieved during this past academic year, and to plan the activities and objectives for the next course. Moreover, the group visited the Museum of Human Evolution, and took a tour around the Atapuerca archeologist's site.
As a result of the exceptional archaeological and paleontological findings, the site of Atapuerca has been declared a World Heritage Site. The Museum of Human Evolution has, for that reason, special interest, since it includes the main findings of the Atapuerca site, in addition to addressing didactically the evolution of hominids.
