On 13 January 1995 the Spanish Government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (University Coordination Section), published a Decree (cf. bulletin Official Spanish State Gazette of 4 February 1995) recognising the civil effects of various degrees of diploma holder, high school program, graduate and Doctor conferred by the Universities and Higher Centres of Ecclesiastical Sciences canonically erected by the Catholic Church. Specifically, and with regard to the ecclesiastical programs of study Centres of the University of Navarre, the degrees recognised are those of high school program, graduate and Doctor obtained at the School of Theology, those of graduate and Doctor obtained at the School of Canon Law and those of diploma holder and graduate at the high school Higher Centre of Religious Sciences.
