Find out a summary video on the APCA Atlas of Palliative Care in Africa, 2017; and the Atlas of Palliative Care in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. In total, 48 African countries and 15 Eastern Mediterranean ones were explored. Both Works were scientifically coordinated by the ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care. The African Atlas was a joint project between the African Association of Palliative Care, the Arnhold Institute for Global Health from Mount Sinai (New York), the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care and the ATLANTES observatory. The Eastern Mediterranean Atlas was a collaboration between the Balsam Lebanese Centre for Palliative Care and Atlantes, with the support of the World Health Organization and the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care.
