The aim of the session is to present the Interpersonal nurse-person/family Relationship Model developed at the University of Navarra. This model is the framework for teaching, research and practice at the School. The core values and elements of the Model will be described using practical examples.
→ The Spanish National Health System and Nursing in Spain: An overview (Mrs. María Carrión)
The aim of this plenary session is to describe the Spanish National Health System highlighting features and peculiarities that distinguishes it from other international health systems. Some brief information on the local and national history, culture, traditions and customs will be shared to provide students with hints that assist them in understanding this particular configuration.

Description or aim: To discuss how high fidelity simulation (both with mannequin or standardized patient) is used in the undergraduate baccalaureate programme in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Navarra. This can provide an opportunity for the student to develop a process of decision making through critical thinking, skills, abstract knowledge, technical skills, and self-confidence within a safe and controlled environment.

→ Should nurses be present in the media? Consequences of their invisibility and tactics to increase their media coverage (Dr. Hildegart González).
The seminar is based on scientific evidence that shows that the nursing profession has very little presence in the media. Several studies also confirm that when they appear they are reflected in a stereotyped way, making it difficult for society to know what they are and what they contribute to the health system as a whole.
Objectives:
• To expose the consequences that this invisibility and stereotyped image have for nurses and their patients.
• To provide effective communication tactics that nurses themselves can activate to increase their media visibility by transmitting a realistic image of their profession.
→ The power of Health Promoting Universities: are you a healthy university? (Dr. Navidad Canga and Mr. Bilal Benbelkheir).
Objectives:
• To present the Healthy University concept
• To introduce in the Healthy University Project conducted by the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Navarra.
• To participate in some Health Promotion activities carried out in the different projects.

The role of nurses in disaster will be discussed, and how climate change is impacting the severity and number of disasters in communities worldwide.
→ Person-centred care: an innovation in clinical practice (Dr. Ana Carvajal and Dr. Maddi Olano/Jesús Martín)
Person-centred care proposes a framework of care that takes into account personal experiences, life stories, family, environment, and the individual's goals and desires in planning health-related issues. Providing person-centred care means moving from a model in which the patient is a passive subject of a health intervention to a model in which the patient takes an active role in his or her care and in the decision-making process.
Objectives:
• To identify the benefits of person-centred care on the health experience of individuals and their families.
• To know different strategies for providing person-centred care in clinical practice.
