Ana Marta González, the ICS scientific coordinator and principal researcher on the project ‘Cultura emocional e identidad' ('Emotional Culture and Identity'), presented the Institute at a meeting of the Cross-Humanities Network. In her presentation, Ana Marta highlighted the three characteristic features of the ICS - interdisciplinarity, internationality and social impact - within the context of the current position of the humanities and philosophy in the orbit of the sciences.

Experts from nine institutions: Universidad Panamericana (Mexico), Asia Pacific University (Mexico), Universidad Austral (Argentina), Universidad de Piura (Peru), Universidad de la Sabana (Colombia), University of the Andes (Chile), Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Italy), International University of Catalonia (Spain) and Centro Universitario Villanueva (Spain) attended the meeting at the University of Navarra.

Among other topics, she addressed the value of interlinking education between the different humanities disciplines, the influence on teacher training, the innovation and the methodological development in the field of the humanities, the prestige and public awareness of research in this area, and the international exchange projects.
