European Union Citizens are given the flexibility to be able to enter Spain without having a supporting visa. It is recommended that they carry out a process called the Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la Union Europea.
The documents required for this Certificate are:
-
The Application form EX-18
-
European Passport
-
Document with evidence that there are sufficient funds for your stay
-
Class enrollment in the University of Navarra
-
Insurance coverage
-
Registration Fee
The Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la Union Europea gives students the ability to reside and study indefinitely, unless their situation changes. There is no need to renew this card.
Make sure to bring these documents to the International Relations Office so we can help look through your pack to make sure everything is ready to be turned in.

You must apply for a 90-day student visa from the Spanish consulate of the country of origin. Upon arrival in Spain, you must request the Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero (TIE) within 30 days. The International Relations Office offers the opportunity to present the documentation directly at the University itself as long as the student presents the documents before September 17th. For more information, consult the section "Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero (TIE) -First time" on this website.
You will apply for a 180 day visa student visa at your Spanish consulate, which will cover your entire stay and will not require any further paperwork throughout your stay at the University.
