Access for visitors
Visiting professors and researchers have access to libraries and their equipment and can use the loans service and electronic resources which are available on the Library computers.
The department or center that invites the visiting professor or researcher will send the following documentation, scanned, to gespacios@unav.es:
- Printout of personal data signed by the visitor and by the Director of the Service or the Manager of the Center, with department stamp.
- Photocopy of DNI/passport/NIE in color.
- Color passport photo.
If the visitor has the card from a previous visit and wishes to use the Library again, the professor who invited them should request card renewal by email (gespacios@unav.es), copying the Director of the Service or the Manager of the Center, and notifying the Library to update the data on the user register (biblioteca@unav.es).
The department will also request the credentials and access credentials for electronic services to IT Services via this form.
The department or center issuing the invitation must send a scanned copy of the DNI/passport/NIE in color to gespacios@unav.es.
On the same day, a card permitting access to the Library and self-issue of loans can be collected from the Information Counter.
This card must be returned at the same counter every day until the end of the stay.
For use of the computers and access to electronic resources and the Library account (consultation and renewal of loans) they must request the temporary credentials from the Library information counter.
Information on the functioning of the Library
On the first visit, they can request information on the functioning of the Library at the counter.
Loan
Up to ten books and ten audiovisual items can be borrowed for a maximum of ten days. The books may be renewed up to five times and audiovisual items twice.

Visitors for more than 15 days must request the items located in the depository via the catalog (more information on requesting documents).
Visitors for less than 15 days can request them following the indications on the Request documents page.
