Having assessed the levels of knowledge, internalization and contribution of the purpose (the three processes of purpose implementation), we have defined the Purpose Strenght Index ® (Lleó et al., 2022) as a synthetic index that reflects the extent to which the purpose is being implemented intensively and consistently so that it can deploy its full capacity. This index is the result of the project "Measuring the purpose strength" developed by Unav, IESE, UIC, the DPMC Foundation and Corporate Excellence - Centre for Reputation Leadership.

Empirical studies show that the effects of purpose are multiplied when it is intensely and consistently implemented.
